The report reviews existing and proposed reservoirs and canals on the Republican and Arikaree Rivers in Yuma County, Colorado; Dundy County, Nebraska; and Cheyenne County, Kansas. Marks projects construction, costs, and revenues, including discussion of water supply, water rights, agriculture, transportation on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, and other factors affecting Haigler, Nebraska, and other towns. Included are seven printed and manuscript maps and ca. thirty photographs, most panoramic views showing rivers, canals, and surrounding lands, with manuscript annotations.
